GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FACULTY
According to paragraph 9 of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 16, 2017 "On measures to further develop the beekeeping industry in our Republic" No. done The Faculty of Zootechnics has the departments of "Soil Science" and "Zootechnics and Agronomy". In paragraph 2.1 of the Order of the Rector of Fergana State University No. 30 of January 28, 2023 on the organizational structure of the university, a single "Joint Faculty of Agriculture" is established on the basis of the joint faculties of zootechnics and viticulture, fruit growing and vegetable growing. organization and in point 2.2 "Effective use of residential plots" on the basis of departments of zootechnics and agronomy "Department of Use and Medicinal Plants" was established.
Today, 5 doctors of science, professors, 17 leading candidates of sciences, associate professors, 8 senior teachers, 16 teachers are working effectively in the faculty.
From January 2023, associate professor Orinov Akmaljon Akhmadjonovich, a candidate of economic sciences, worked in the faculty as a leader. Askarov Kamoliddin Abdug'aniyevich, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of Biological Sciences, is in charge from the 2024 academic year.
In order to increase the scientific potential of the faculty, a total of 14 basic doctoral students and 2 doctoral students are conducting their scientific work. In particular:
