Psychological Support at Fergana State University
At times, coping with everyday life can feel overwhelming. Fergana State University (FSU) psychologists are here to support your mental wellbeing depending on your situation.
Our psychologists provide support in five main areas:
- Psychological Prevention – helping students, parents, and staff gain scientific knowledge of psychological development, preventing potential issues before they arise.
- Psychological Diagnostics – identifying students’ individual characteristics and challenges during the learning process.
- Psychological Correction – assisting students in strengthening their personality and individual growth.
- Psychological Education & Outreach – organizing lectures, seminars, and workshops to raise awareness and promote psychological culture among students, teachers, and parents.
- Psychological Consultation – providing advice to solve personal, academic, or professional problems and supporting overall mental health.
During the 2024–2025 academic year, FSU organized over 200 preventive activities and trainings in faculties and dormitories, reaching more than 8,000 students. These included:
- 78 psychological trainings
- 77 open discussions and round tables
- 46 dormitory-based activities
Additionally, more than 210 individual consultations were provided based on referrals from faculty deans and tutors.
Psychological Consultation (PC)
If you feel stressed, anxious, or uncertain about your wellbeing, you can book a Psychological Consultation (PC) with our university psychologist.
In a short 15 minute session (online, at the campus office), you can:
- Confidentially explain your main concern
- Receive advice on next steps
- Get referred to appropriate care services
